Our story starts in 2000 when we met as colleagues and became friends. For 14 years we worked together as engineers and business managers, gaining extensive experience in the corporate world. In 2015 we decided to start a new journey.
Our love for nature is one of our strongest friendship ties and it felt like a natural step to start a new company where we could serve the environment with our substantial engineering, business, and management experience. In pursuit of this goal, Sinowatek was registered, as a company specializing in process and product innovation for circular economies.
Advanced, state-of-the-art technologies are a prerequisite for specializing in process and product innovation. The first important technology we adopted was pulse combustion drying (PCD), licensed by an Irish company, Pulsed Powders Ltd. We believe that PCD is currently the most revolutionary drying technology available.
Sinowatek concentrated on the analysis and development of design parameters to improve and specialize the design of PCD units. This allowed us to tailor specialized units in terms of thermal capacity, as well as for different applications. These parameters played a significant role in optimizing and improving the technology and meaningful cost reductions were obtained for the building, implementation, and maintenance of the units.
In the years after we started Sinowatek, we gained meaningful experience in the commercialization of PCD technology. Internationally, we were an integral part of the project team that built and commissioned a PCD facility in Karaman, Turkey. This facility develops dry products, complying with food-grade standards, in the beverage industry. We assisted in designing interchangeable components for the development process for the facility.
To provide comprehensive solutions for the circular economy challenges of our clients, we have partnered with industry leaders in other sustainable technologies, such as:
INNOWATECH GmbH - the innovators and producers of the powerful disinfectant Innowatech Anolyte®. The pH-neutral environment of Innowatech Anolyte® doesn't only make it safe for humans, but it also does not cause corrosion to pipe or fittings, which prolongs the lifetime of our equipment.
The Fournier Rotary Press - This forefront technology in sludge dewatering is a high-quality technology with superior performance and a small environmental footprint, making it an indispensable technology building block in Sinowatek's toolbox.
We are passionate about the circular economy and our technologies serve as building blocks to change the thinking from the 'take-make-waste' linear manufacturing model to a model where residual materials can be repurposed and waste minimized. We provide our clients with opportunities to move to a system where products are kept in use to create more value and where natural resources are regenerated.
